THE MASTER TRADES CLUB

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 13, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of themastertradesclub.com (the “Site”), our event registration and assessment forms, and our email and text message programs. The Site is operated by The Master Trades Club, LLC (“MTC,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a Michigan limited liability company. By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

MTC is a private, invitation-based membership club for owners of trades and construction businesses. We host member events, share information about the Club and its membership, and provide services to approved members under a separate membership agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Site or submit a form. If you submit a form on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to share that business’s information.

3. Event registration

Submitting a registration or invitation request does not guarantee a seat. MTC reviews every request and may accept, waitlist or decline any registration at its discretion. Event details (date, venue, agenda, speakers) may change. If an event is changed or cancelled, we will notify registered guests using the contact details they provided. Guests agree to follow the venue’s rules and to conduct themselves professionally. MTC may refuse entry to anyone whose conduct is disruptive or unsafe.

4. Membership

Information on the Site about membership, benefits and pricing is for general information only and is not an offer. Membership is subject to approval and to a separate written membership agreement. If anything on the Site conflicts with a signed membership agreement, the membership agreement controls. Benefits described as targets, estimates or examples are not guarantees unless the membership agreement says so.

5. Text message (SMS) program

  • Program name: The Master Trades Club Event & Member Updates.
  • Program description: If you opt in, The Master Trades Club will send you text messages about events you registered for or were invited to (confirmations, reminders, schedule and venue updates), responses to your inquiries, and, only if you separately opt in to marketing messages, information about Club membership and upcoming events.
  • How to opt in: You opt in by checking a text message consent box on one of our forms, such as our event registration form or the Member Assessment at themastertradesclub.com/member-assessment, or by texting START to +1 (947) 622-9181. Consent is not a condition of registration or of any purchase.
  • Message frequency: You will receive up to 8 messages per month. Frequency varies around events.
  • Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
  • Opting out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to +1 (947) 622-9181. After you send “STOP,” we will send you one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time or text “START” to +1 (947) 622-9181, and we will start sending you messages again.
  • Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at lionpride@themastertradesclub.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: https://themastertradesclub.com/privacy-policy.

6. Email communications

If you provide your email address, we may send you emails about events you registered for and, if you opted in, about the Club. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop messages that are necessary for an event you registered for, such as confirmations or venue changes.

7. Your information

Our Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing Policy explain what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. They are part of these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, impersonate anyone, interfere with the Site’s operation, attempt to access data that is not yours, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual property

The MTC name, lion logo, brand materials, text, images and design on the Site belong to MTC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify or use our marks or materials without our written permission.

10. Third-party services and links

The Site may use or link to third-party services (for example, registration, scheduling or venue websites). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” Content is general information and is not legal, tax, financial or business advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTC and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, our forms or our messaging programs. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MTC harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
